                        ASPI for Win16 Sample Code

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

For additional information on creating ASPI for Win16 device drivers and
applications please refer to the source code from the following example
as well as the ASPI for Windows specification included with this kit.

SCANSCSI
=-=-=-=-
SCANSCSI opens a window and loops continuously while displaying all of the
SCSI devices found on the SCSI bus. The user can exit at any time by
pressing ALT F4 or by selecting EXIT from the applications menu. The user
can enable and disable, on a per target basis, which SCSI targets should
get scanned. For further information on SCANSCSI please refer to the source
   code comments.

SCANSCSI was built using Microsoft Visual C++ v1.52c

Additional Support for ASPI Developers:

Adaptec does not provide programming support for the ASPI layer. It is
assumed that you are already familiar with the device you wish to
control (e.g. CD-ROM driver, scanner, etc.). The sample source code
provided in this SDK (available at http://www.adaptec.com) will get you
started in your development. If you believe you have found a bug in the
ASPI layer, please be sure you are using the latest ASPI layer from
http://www.adaptec.com. If the problem persists, please send detailed
information, with the steps to replicate the bug, to
    mailto:acap@corp.adaptec.com.
