Hey all, Because I've been working on SDL (1.2, 2 and 3) on classic Macs, I've been looking into OpenGL quite a bit lately. I've produced some stuff that may be useful to others, or at the very least help people avoid reinventing the wheel, so to speak. All of this works on ppc and m68k...

A lot has happened since the last post. srp/doctashay added full screen DrawSprockets, OpenGL and audio. He redid the event handling and finished keyboard decoding. He also fixed dozens of tiny bugs in threads and timers and main(), etc. He used it for a port of Half-Life for MacOS 9...

Now have SDL2_image, SDL2_mixer, SDL2_ttf and SDL2_gfx. SDL2_image and SDL2_mixer aren't using ANY external libraries yet, as I haven't built them, so file formats limited.

I have MkLinux on my 6100, which is a similar machine and it runs fine, if not speedily. Other distros are possible, as you mentioned, but likely not out of the box, and you will need to deal with many hitches and hacks, and likely need a special kernel, or some even just use the MkLinux one...
