Favorite feature so far is the emoji icons:

AirWriter: AirPrint and AppleTalk for the ImageWriter (ESP32 + TashTalk)

It's interesting -- there's a certain class of *very* early Mac software, before the Chooser or even Choose Printer, which assumes that only an Imagewriter I could ever be hooked up. Trying to print a file from the first version of MacPaint, or an Errata doc from Lightspeed Pascal, for example...

AirWriter: AirPrint and AppleTalk for the ImageWriter (ESP32 + TashTalk)

Interesting! Are you doing 'Imagewriter Emulation' at all (print to PDF or TIFF, for example), or is the focus bridging to real hardware printers?

KeroBurn: a Mac app for the XGecu T48 / TL866II+ (beta, testers wanted)

This works great! I used it to dump the four PLCC32 ROMs of a Global Village OneWorld (a strange device that makes two GV PowerBook modems available over an AppleTalk LAN.) M5 Pro MacBook Pro, Golden Gate 27.0.1 For AppleTalk fans, longer thread over here.

BlueSCSI v2 Pico - Low cost, open hardware, fast SCSI device!

Great! I've got a 4pin dupont to QWIIC cable -- can you tell me the mapping between QWIIC and S1/S2?

BlueSCSI v2 Pico - Low cost, open hardware, fast SCSI device!

Here's a quick question -- any way to add Front Panel support to a Desktop 50pin version 2022.12a?

Snow EMU - Emulator for 680x0-based Macintosh computers

Bin/cue with audio tracks works as well, which is fantastic:

Snow EMU - Emulator for 680x0-based Macintosh computers

Fantastic -- checked out from your PR and: Thanks for both the fix and explaining how you researched it. I'd never played around with the Peripherals or Breakpoints windows before; I'm guessing you knew enough about SCSI to know what to monitor?

Snow EMU - Emulator for 680x0-based Macintosh computers

My host machine is actually Golden Gate, as of today. The emulated machine is a IIcx with a Toby cared running System 7.1, installed from the Apple Mac OS 7.1 MultiPack CD-ROM, which is the third download on that page. For CD images, I've tried a few dozen ISOs and Bin/Cues, drawn from the...

Snow EMU - Emulator for 680x0-based Macintosh computers

Curious if folks have had any luck with CD-ROM mounting? Snow seems to present its own brand as the Vendor ID, which I think will prevent Apple's CD-ROM driver from recognizing the device...

Macintosh IIx - Manufactured Feb 1991. What??

Great research, and indeed a wonderfully clean example! I can easily imagine them using up the last few cases and motherboards into 1991, plus some big orders may have been awaiting fulfillment from slow-moving customers (regulated industries, governments) that would prefer tried-and-true over...

    BlueSCSI Toolbox - NeXT Edition

Wow, was not expecting that level of polish! I don't know your comfort level with sharing the source code, but i'd be glad to try and help with the back-port to earlier NextStep versions.

    68k Ollama LLM

One approach would be retrieval-augmented generation, where a local model queries embeddings from PDFs or texts you provide. There are a lot of projects on GitHub for this kind of thing, although I don't know the one specific one I would try. There is a plugin for LMStudio (a cross-platform...

    imaging MO disc

I do have a working MO drive, and have imaged some beta OS/Application disks successfully. 'Forensically' imaging MO disks can be a bit tricky, but folks have actually updated the NeXT emulator (previous) to work better with what is possible from the hardware side. (The drive isn't attached...
