This is a bit of a work in progress, but I’ve found a 10000mAh powerbank that fits inside the empty battery pack. Amazon Link With the relevant PD breakout board it could provide 12V either for my custom LCD replacement (see other post) or perhaps power the whole laptop?

I found the speaker connection is the 5th pin from the right on both sides of the LCD ribbon connector. I had previously desoldered this from the torn ribbon cable. I may still try to find the signals on the logic board somewhere for a more sturdy connection. Of course the speaker sounds even...
