Forgot to mention that I have tried switching out the ROMS with known good ones to no avail.

Levco MonsterMac working, then not working

Howdy, I acquired a Mac 512k with a Levco MonsterMac/SCSI upgrade. After fiddling with it a bit I got the RAM working (2mb total) and the external SCSI working (booting to 6.08). The internal SCSI did not work, I think because the cable was/is damaged at the connector. After deciding to...

Shouldn't this be easy? Windows 3.1

Thanks Kai! Being the long time computer guy that I am, I dove right in to the simple method. No need to backup. I know all about computers. Well, if you choose a resolution that your poor little Cirrus chip doesn't support, guess what? Windows won't boot, and since I was so smart and didn't...

Shouldn't this be easy? Windows 3.1

Is there some magic to changing the Windows 3.1 splash screen? I had a Compaq branded version for my Presario 425 and then had to reinstall the OS and now have the vanilla MS version. Mac IIfx no floppy power on Pin 11 x2

Greetings, I recently acquired a Macintosh IIfx. Everything works fine, except... the floppy drive(s). I started simple and switched to a known good floppy. No luck. I checked the voltages at the power connector and everything looks correct. Case to pin 1 (yellow): 12v Case to pins 2, 3, 4, 5...

    Switchbot

Yours is a much simpler solution. :) My problem was I wanted to use the slot loading cd/dvd (I used the older, original Mac mini with slot drive for this conversion). So I pushed the mini all the way to the back, like yours, but with the slot drive facing the back instead of the power button...

does anybody have a working version?

Greetings, This apparently unusual Mac Video Processor attaches to the back of the Macintosh with a connector that passes through the security slot which connects to an internal ribbon cable that then connects to a board that sits between the analog to motherboard connector. It came with a Mac...

Greetings, I recently acquired this Multi Video Mac Video Processor. I can't find any information (other than the MacWorld ad- attached) and was wondering if anybody has a working version of this item and how they got it working? Thanks in advance for your help!
