iMac G4 doesn't chime once I took the HDD out.
I wanted to replace with an ssd adapter, which is now plugged in. When I turn it on it the fan spins for a moment, and then turns off. I haven't removed the ssd yet, but wanted to know if there was anything else to look out for while I have it open- neonfire

iMac G4 HDD replacement
I tried getting an m.2 adapter, but it appears to be for a laptop and the connector (idk the name of it) is too big. What should I be searching for? Or does anyone have an amazon link to something that would work?- neonfire

Restoring a relatively decent iMac G4
Got an iMac G4 finally recently after always wanting one as a kid. It works well, but it doesn't see the Airport card at all. I'm not sure if I need drivers as it's been so long since I worked on one of these machines. I'd also like to install os9 if I can, but idk if I need CDs or if I can do...- neonfire
