One final question before I go buying silikongrease. Did You also grease the tooths on the plastic gearwheel? I am planning to inject silikongrease with a suringe, between all moving parts

And by plastic cover, You mean the rear of the mashine or did You manage to lift som plastic cover over the pulling mechanism in front of the mashine? Or just lifting the lid as when one is mounting film for scanning And then greasing down in the mechanism?

Hi, did You totally dissembled the mashine or just open and removed the back and then greased with spray?

Strange noise from the mechanism that moves the film forward between each scan of filmframe. It sounds like somethiing is not greased. It stoppes after a while and then it can return. Most of the time there is no destrurbing noise, but it makes me wonder if something may crash in i near future...

Hi, if You do that You may be have future proböem from the glue that comes from the scotch tape as the tape may drop off and leave remains of glue. Just a thought…..

Hi @0dan0 , I do not see any vignetting so far, maybe later on. But one thing is positive with the aperture reduction, and that is that the flashes from autoexposure is minimized. I can think that the lens is capturing light even from the filmbase holes on the side for pulling the film forward...

Hi, this looks like an easy way to protect the filmbase. I have managed to deassemble the hull and I see now that the plastic-rod, wich You have added the nylon wasker and spacer on, kan be loosened from the inside. bow do I securely disconnect the two flatcables? brg Claus
