Tried this out. New device ordered from Amazon, serial # J2925148BK01099, with a SanDisk extreme 32 gb SD card C10 V30, formatted to FAT32. Worked fine, no issues I can tell. Only scanned one reel so far. Very slight/occasional flickering of the HUD during recording but not really an issue. I... -

Did you end up trying out the D version? Just ordered a unit off Amazon, similar serial number: J2925148BK01099. From what I can tell it's probably a D but it hasn't been tested yet.
