Modern MacBinary Tool for MacOS 26

I often get files off Macintosh Garden downloaded to my MacBook Pro with MacOS 26. How do I get these files onto a disk immage that can be read by mini Vmac? It seems the no Stuffit Deluxe or MacBinary tools exists for newer ARM based Macs to prep file to be moved to disk images.

    BeOS Install

Indeed this worked. Ethernet configured, but secure web browsing is painful. I know there are some software sites for BeOS, but may take some tinkering (ha ha) to get files over to BeOS partition.

    BeOS Install

I read something about an OS Chooser extension being installed - but I am not sure it was installed automatically. Might need to manually do that. "The BeOS OS Chooser extension allows users to select whether to start the BeOS or the Mac OS each time they boot their Macintosh."

Looking for Kanga CD-ROM Drive module

I have managed to acquire a 20-x CD ROM module for a WallStreet PowerBook G3, but I have a Kanga PowerBook G3 that is lacking the CD-ROM module. Does someone have this seemingly rare drive? Or a Kanga machine that might include a working CD-ROM module? M4329 (various service codes) PowerBook...

Power Supply of PowerMac 7600 need recapped

The power supply on my vintage Power Mac 7600 must have given up the ghost. It worked for a month in the machine and now has sadly become non-functional. So, the PSU is removed for an examination and recapping. I will need to get a list of those capacitors. :)

    Hi from Minnesota

Right now, my collection is very small. I have a 512K Classic Mac that is fully recapped and floppy rebuilt. A PowerMac 7600 that I have 3D printed some parts for and am currently updating with BlueSCSI. The floppy and CD drives are in working order. The power supply is fine, but probably needs...

    Hi from Minnesota

I only had a small experience with a G4 Cube as I supported teachers in a middle school who had them. I never had one as my own machine. Wondering if I should add one to my own collection of retro vintage Macs.

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

Thanks. I will work with one of the engineering students and set up a nylon sliced version. Though I did use Co-Pilot to customize my PRUSA settings. Here is the sliced screenshot.

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

Yes, the PETG was dry. We reoriented the model so the largest surface was the bottom layer. Lesss supported needed. We tried an in fill of 25% - 30% and that seems to be too much. The engineering students are pretty good with the 3D printer, so perhaps they can help me adjust things. Cleaning...

    Partial Dead Quantum Prodrive LPS

The freezing did not work. I think the R/W heads are "permanently" parked. :-)

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

The file is from printable.com. The PRUSA slicer must need some tweaks.

    Power Macintosh 7200/7300/7500/7600 Power Button

I just did a 3D print from a STL file at https://www.printables.com/model/941283-apple-power-macintosh-7xxx-power-switch using a PRUSA printer and PETG material. I am not impressed. Perhaps I need to use a different filament material. This switch look better.

    Partial Dead Quantum Prodrive LPS

I am in the process of building my BlueSCSI for my Power Macintosh 7600. I thought while I was waiting, I would try an old Quantum Prodrive LPS unit (240 MB) out of a Apple Mac LC III. Electrically it is good. However when I boot my CD version of Mac OS 7.6.1 the Drive Setup shows volume is >not...

400 K Floppy Drive Repair Components

Alright James. I am excited to report I have made my first Mouser order. I asked students to watch your 400K drive video to prepare for the work ahead. Excited to see how things go. I have 2 400K external drives, and I can test the results on my 512K restored and recapped classic Mac. :-)
