Sounds like maybe the pads / recapping may be possible issue. Have you recapped before? Did machine work properly before recap?

no, the psu works perfect on other machines. I have new 74hc132 and 74hc74 chips coming, hopefully will clear two iici boards up. The iici in this post also doesn't death chime when no ram is present, is that normal?

Well, it does the same thing in my se chassis. Will have to do analog board anyways, but still think it is something on logic board

I still have my working se/30 going well, but still cant find an answer as to why the zebra pattern shows up on initial turn on, then 12 seconds later it chimes, screen turns normal, and then boots / works normal. If i hit restart, it acts completely normal no zebra screen. vram? I pulled off...

Still having issues with first iici. Got startup circuit working good. It chimes, but never get display. Also, if i hit button beside reset at startup i get an endless chime lol. Still a broken trace?

will clean the buttons then reinstall tomorrow. anything that might need to be checked? no battery corrosion or anything. Wasn't sure about the RTC as my quadra 800 did the same thing until I changed out the RTC chip, then display worked. I wonder if there are trace from RTC to the cap leakage area?

I have a recapped iici. It would initially turn on when I plugged power in, and wouldn't turn off with power button, or start up with power button, or keyboard. Pulled some chips, cleaned cap goop, and throughly rinses with isopropyl. Now soft start and power button work, get chime, screen...

Have you confirmed your ram is all ok, and cleaned contacts?
